No Show, Cancellation and Late Arrival Policy
Late Arrival Policy:
Our practice makes every effort to run on time with appointments, as we believe everyone’s time is equally valuable. As a courtesy, we will remind you of all upcoming appointments via phone/text message/email.
Please also note that if you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your scheduled well/physical appointment, we may not be able to see your child. Please note if you are late, your provider will then be late for every other appointment for the remainder of the day. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for all other types of appointments and your child is not in distress, you may lose your assigned time slot in the schedule and have to wait longer to be seen or need to be rescheduled.
Appointment Cancellations/No Show Policy:
All Star has seen an increase in our families canceling their appointments with short notice or not showing up at all. Late cancellations and missed appointments represent a cost to us, to you and to other patients who could have been seen in that time set aside for you. As a courtesy to all of our patients, we ask that families notify our office 24 hours in advance if you cannot keep a well/physical appointment or consult visit. For Monday appointments this would mean that the office must be notified by Saturday before office hours end at noon.
All other types of visits must be cancelled at least 2 hours in advance to avoid a fee.
Families will be charged $50.00 per patient for every missed (or cancelled without enough notice) well/physical or consult appointment and $25.00 per patient for every other missed (or cancelled without enough notice) appointment.
Families who have more than 3 no show visits/late cancellations in a 12-month period may result in a discharge from the practice.
