TeleHealth

  • Telehealth services can be a useful way to complete SOME visits. Please understand that not all visits lend themselves to telehealth visits. (Some examples of visits which can not often be accomodated are well checks, rashes, ear pain, injuries, sore throat, headache, urinary symptoms, diarrhea and fever). All telehealth services will be scheduled at the discretion of one of our nurses or providers. Thank you in advance for understanding that some concerns and illnesses are better managed via an in-office visit.
  • There will be a charge for a teleheath visit. This is a virtual visit with one of the All Star providers in real time.
  • To access this service you will need:
  • An appointment for a provider to call you back. The triage nurses can assist you with this request. As mentioned above, not all requests can be safely handled via telehealth and some telehealth visits may still end up in your child needing to be seen in our office or another facility.
  • To have access to internet.  This services works best if you are on Wi-Fi.
  • To have a webcam and microphone available to you. Many smart phones can handle telehealth visits as long as they are connected to the internet.
  • If you have concerns about whether or not your insurance company will pay for this service, please contact them prior to scheduling your telehealth appointment with the office. We do NOT have information in the office at this time in regards to coverage for individual plans.
